Fast food giant McDonald's has taken a big step this week, announcing that it is installing electric car charging stations at its location in Cary, North Carolina.The company has opened several green stores around the world that were constructed out of environmentally-friendly materials and feature living roofs and LED lighting.
The charging stations will be operated by an independent company, and people who want to charge their cars using them can either sign up for a subscription or pay for a single use via a toll-free call.
